CAMAC Progress Report Week Ending: February 22, 2002 Week: 56 Tom Folkers: 1. More work on the DBE driver code. 2. Preparing the DBE for the first tests next week. Tom Sargent: 1. Fixed a couple of bugs in the sun avoidance code. I believe the logic that computes the path is correct now, except for the fact that the wrap hasn't yet been addressed. 2. Helped Pete verify that the A/D cards received back from Traquair still work and appear to have the specified 1KHz filters installed. 3. Made additions to the servo code so that it can follow a path described as a list of points. That is the output of the sun avoidance computation. Previously, it just took a start and end point and drove elevation and Azimuth in a decoupled fashion until each independently reached the target location. (that simpler method is still used when the sun is below the horizon.) Pete Hubbard: 1. Testing the Traquair A/D boards low pass filter after modification. The attenuation now starts at 1 kHz. 2. Changed MPI 6000 amplifier boards input stage to differential and used a LTC1052 chopper amp that has a 600 Hz chopping frequency. 3. Converted the MPI 6000 board that has been used for testing in the lab so it will be able to be used at SMT. Had to add the Rod Ref signal that is used to set telescope ref point. 4. Tested all cards in lab telescope hardware to ready for SMT testing. Lori Warner: 1. No Report. Dave Ashby: 1. No Report.
