CAMAC Progress Report Week Ending: March 09, 2001 Week: 6 Tom Folkers: 1. Followed up on orders with vendors. Tom Sargent: 1. I spent almost all my time this week working on the Linux driver for the IRIG interface. The existing driver is for kernel rev. 2.0 instead of 2.2 and there are significant changes. Also, the original driver, from the 12m, has extra functionality to read the 12 meter's encoders, which we do not need. Pete Hubbard: 1. Krupp rack interface signal list from Bill Peters. Continuing to get familiar with the hardware. 2. MPI 6000 preamp card has the reference signal giving a 1ms pulse at this time. Looking at changes to the boards that allows the reference level to trigger new electronics. 3. Helping with lab move.
