CAMAC Progress Report Week Ending: March 02, 2001 Week: 5 Tom Folkers: 1. Took a well deserved vacation. Tom Sargent: 1. Studying the TMS320c44 processor and the Traquair 320c44 CPU card. I learned how to do interrupt service routines in C, and initialize the C44's internal timer/counters. I wrote some code to run on the TI processor. 2. I spent a little time studying Linux drivers. I'll probably work on that more next week. Pete Hubbard: 1. Testing with Globe small motor and one 256:1 gear box the sin and cos look ok. Found beam couplings from Ruland manufacturing and Berg gear that will enable mounting motor and gear box. 2. Programmed Tektronix Arbitrary Function Generator model AFG320 to simulate the ROD456 encoder signal with both sin and cos swept together. 3. Looking at Krupp rack interface requirements.
