CAMAC Progress Report Week Ending: April 27, 2001 Week: 13 Tom Folkers: 1. More work with RT-Linux. Trying to get to the bottom of the system crashes. I found the problem, I just have to find a work around. 2. Also considering other RealTime systems. 3. Had to take a couple of personal days. Tom Sargent: 1. I got the Traquiar DSP card to pass its "confidence tests". 2. Had to get Windows 98 installed in the VmWare system because Traquair recommended it. Their code is not Win 2000 compatible. I reinstalled the Traquiar PC-side development software on the Win 98 system. 3. I Learned how to compile a C program on the PC and download it into the DSP processor, but I am having trouble getting one of the Traquair test programs to run correctly. I emailed Traquair and they were able to reproduce the failure. I am still working with it. I will start writing some programs of my own also. Pete Hubbard: 1. Making ribbon cables and wiring interface chassis. 2. Finishing chassis rear connector mounting. 3. Looking up data sheet for using Burr-Brown ADS7800 12 bit ADC with unipolar input signals.
