Manuals:

User manual: clearly explained, easily accessible. Data analysis manual: not used yet.

Equipment:

Support:

Adequate.

Objectives:

Yes, at a 80% level with two sources.

Problems:

  1. Just a minor problem with FB2s filterbanks. They've broken down during the second day.
  2. Sometimes coordinates are not correctly written in the headers. AOSA and FFBA shares the same coordinates, while AOSB, AOSC and FFBB do the same with other coordinates. Both group of coordinates are shifted by 1"-2" of the observed coordinates, and with different signs. This do not occurs every time.
  3. AOSA and AOSB have a shift in freq with respect to the rest of the backends (AOSC, FFBA, FFBB and FB2s). AOSA spectra peaks at higher velocities (lower freqs) than the other, while AOSB spectra peaks at lower velocities (higher freqs) than the rest. I can measure the shift case by case, and probably fix it by hand in class. However, if you have noticed that feature probably there is another way to fix systematically.

Resolved:

  1. FB2s filterbank problem: Not fixed during observations. It was not a crucial issue because AOS and FFB worked perfectly.
  2. Fixed during reduction stage.
  3. Not fixed. It will be necessary to be fixed in cases of low S/N ratio, in order to average both channels, recorded at AOSA and AOSB.

Hours_lost_weather:

17 (25% of the total time)
