Summary of Changes 26-28 Jan 98 The RX command has been reworked. The receiver names are parameters to RX itself. No /R_NAME adverb is necessary. The /CHN1 and /CHN2 adverbs are also gone. These were used to specify which SIS345 channels went to which backend. This is now handled by the BE_FE command. See [SMT.DOC]FRONTENDS.DOC for more details on the frontend-backend scheme. The RX command also sends the OBSINP parameters that make FEORGA change the IF and synthesizer switches to select that receiver. It should not be necessary to change them via the Host4 buttons. But it still is necessary to manually set the X and Y switches on the MPIfR Switch Box to select which IF goes to which spectrometer. The OBST SAVE and RESTORE commands have been enhanced. It should no longer be necessary to execute certain OBST commands to complete the restoration of the SAVEd configuration. Notify Bill if you find something that was missed. Because of this, RESTORE is no longer equivalent to @. (After performing @, RESTORE then executes @TEL$OBS:RESTORE.)
